Lawyer and Master in Sociology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, Master in Political Management from The George Washington University, USA, and PhD (Candidate) in Communications at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

He has worked as a political, legislative, and communications advisor for more than a decade, both in the Senate (2007–2008 and 2020–2023) and in the Chamber of Deputies (2010–2014). In addition, he served as Head of Studies at the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency (Segpres) from 2018 to 2020.

He teaches courses related to public affairs, political communication, and strategic communication at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and Universidad de los Andes. As of January 2024, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Council for Transparency for a six-year term.
